■Panelists


Hiraku Tsuzuki (Class of 2015)

After graduating from university, Hiraku worked in management consulting for the pharmaceutical and entertainment industry at a general consulting firm. In 2013, he decided to come to Hong Kong and study at HKUST MBA at his own expense. After graduation, he joined a Japanese independent private equity funds in January 2015 and implemented investment into several deals and propelled corporate value improvement activities after the execution and investment of several investment projects.


Zenjiro Hamada (Class of 2018)

Zenjiro has experience working for Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd. upon graduation. He engaged in insurance program formation for major general trading companies and logistics companies. After leaving the company in 2016, he chose to study abroad at HKUST MBA at his own expense. Post-MBA, he returned to Japan and worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs Securities Co., Ltd. In addition to M&A, advisory services for acquisitions and activism, he is also involved in corporate financing support (stocks, bonds) and principal investment in venture companies.


Takuya Sato (Class of 2021)

After graduating from Keio University, Takuya worked in new development sales at Nomura Securities' sales office for 6 years. In 2019, he left the company to join HKUST MBA at his own expense. After working as an intern in a local consulting firm during his study in Hong Kong, he joined the Tokyo office of a foreign-affiliated strategic consulting firm post-MBA.

Yutaka Ikeda (Class of 2020)

After graduating from university, Yutaka engaged in IPO advisory at a securities company and management planning at the Hong Kong regional headquarters of a Japanese electronics manufacturer. Later, he studied at HKUST MBA at his own expense in 2018. He then returned to Japan and switched to strategic planning in a Japanese venture company. Since April 2021, he has taken up the role as head of corporate management at a major Japanese overseas new corporation in Hong Kong.
